Lantern & Kite

Our Values

Lantern & Kite began with a simple belief: there is always more to imagine, more to notice, and more that could be possible.

These values shape the things we create, the ideas we follow, and the invitation we extend to everyone who finds their way into something made by Lantern & Kite.

Wonder & Imagination

Wonder begins with looking at the world and asking what if?

Imagination lets us answer in ways that do not exist yet.

They are at the heart of everything we create—whether we are discovering something hidden in an ordinary moment, dreaming up an entirely new world, or imagining a different way something could be done.

We believe imagination is meant to be used. To wander. To question. To play. To make room for ideas that may seem unlikely at first.

Because before something can be created, it has to be imagined.

Possibilities

Possibilities begin when we look beyond what something is and start wondering what it could become.

An idea can become a story. A problem can become a new way forward. A small thought can lead somewhere completely unexpected.

We believe in exploring those possibilities rather than deciding too quickly where the edges are.

Sometimes the most interesting question is simply:

Where could this take us?

An Invitation to Imagine & Create With Us

We do not want to keep imagination to ourselves.

Everything we create carries an invitation: come explore with us, wonder with us, build with us, or take the spark somewhere entirely your own.

You may step into a world we imagined, use something we created, discover an idea you had not considered before—or be inspired to make something that could only have come from you.

The invitation is not only to see what we have imagined.

It is to imagine what you might create next.

Find & Create Joy

Joy does not always arrive as something enormous.

Sometimes it is hidden in a small discovery, an unexpected laugh, a quiet moment, something finally becoming easier, or the satisfaction of making something that did not exist before.

We believe in noticing those moments.

And we believe in creating more of them.

In the things we make and the lives we live, we want to leave room for delight, comfort, play, discovery, connection, and the little things worth remembering.

Find the joy that is already there.

And when you can, create some more.

Courage

Courage is not the absence of fear.

Fear can tell us that something matters. It can point toward uncertainty, risk, or something we need to understand more clearly.

And sometimes, fear is telling us that something may be wrong.

We believe it is worth listening closely enough to know the difference.

Courage can mean moving forward even when something feels uncertain. But it can also mean stopping, questioning the path we are on, admitting when something does not feel right, and being willing to change direction.

It takes courage to try.

It also takes courage to reconsider, to correct, and to walk away when that is the wiser choice.

Fear does not have to make the decision.

But it may help us understand what the decision needs to be.
